PUBLIC POLICY CAREER NIGHT - April 2024

The Rochester Community PTA Council hosted a student moderated Zoom event called Personal Stories of Public Service.

 

Public servants with various backgrounds explained how they got their start in this area and what drives them to serve. Panelists included a Michigan Supreme Court justice, assistant attorney general, Oakland County clerk, Rochester Hills youth advocate, judge, political reporter, law enforcement official and more.

STEAM Careers YouTube Channel 

RCS Students interviewed area professionals about their life experiences, jobs and what they do all day. Some of the topics discussed are the value of AP classes, how they picked their career and diversity in the workplace. STEAM Careers encompasses a wide range of careers including animation, computer programming, engineering, product design, and medical lab science.
